Festa Olandese! @Factory

Cari Erasmini,

 

finalmente un altro national party. Questa volta tocca ai nostri amici Olandesi. 

L'Olanda, questa meravigliosa terra strappata al Mare del Nord e' una delle nazioni piu' in piano d'Europa. Immaginate che e' cosi' piatta che uno dei piu' grandi aereoporti europei, nonche' aereoporto nazionale, Schipol e' situato a circa 5 metri sotto il livello del mare. A protezione di questa terra solo la diga: Afsluitdijk. L'Olanda e' considerato il paese dei mulini a vento, dei tulipani e dei parchi.... non che il paese delle biciclette. In olanda qualsiasi palazzo o strada viene costruita pensando a dove e come inserire un passaggio per le biciclette. Alcune statistiche dicono che ogni olandese possiede 1.3 biciclette. Ci sono cosi' tante biciclette che e' semplicissimo poter osservare per strada fenomeni come quello dei motorini a Napoli. 2, 3 o 4 persone tutte insieme in bici. E tutti, ma proprio tutti sono sempre di corsa con le loro bici e di certo non esitano a mandare a fanc***o i turisti distratti che passeggiano sulle piste ciclabili. 

Amsterdam e' la capitale. Una delle citta' piu' conosciute in tutto il mondo. Sempre piena di turisti. La Heineken  e' la birra nazionale e uno dei piu' grandi breweries del mondo. Pensate che contribui' all'abolizione del proibizionismo americano in modo da poter incrementare guadagni e esportazioni. Van Gogh e' uno degli artisti di questa nazione piu' conosciuto nel mondo. 

 

Tuttavia, sapete perche' il vostro porgramma di scambio si chiama ERASMUS? Il nome prende spunto da un grande e famoso studioso, teologo e filosofo nato proprio in Olanda:  Desiderius Erasmus Roterodamus anche conosciuto come Erasmo da Rotterdam. Il nome e' stato scelto proprio per la vita di questo studioso. Ha viaggiato in tutta Europa per studiare popoli e culture delle altre nazioni. 

 

Ok, lo so a cosa state pensando, "ci sara' anche un po' di buona erba da fumare a questo Dutch party?"... La risposta e' NO. Ma ovviamente l'Olanda e' anche molto conosciuta per aver reso legale il consumo e la vendita di marijuana e hashish (quasi) in tutta la nazione. Invece per quelli che non fumano, la risposta e' comunque NO, lo so che stavate pensando gia al Red Light District. SPORCACCIONI. In ogni caso, c'e' da dire che in Olanda la prostituzione e' legale e regolarizzata dalla legislatura Olandese. Tutte le prostitute del Red Light District hanno accesso gratutito a tutte le cure mediche e a tutti i test sanitari. Inoltre come lavoratrici indipendenti, pagano le tasse come ogni altro cittadino. Sul Red Ligh District c'e' da aggiungere qualcosina. Non e' solo il quartiere delle prostitute. E' uno dei quartire piu' belli di Amsterdam (non ridete, non e' bello solo perche' ci sono le prostitute... SPORCACCIONIIII). Il Red Light District e' uno dei quartieri con le case piu' belle di Amsterdam, inoltre e' anche il piu' antico di Amsterdam. Risale infatti al 1270. Inoltre all'interno del Red Light District e' possibile trovare una delle chiese piu' vecchie di Amsterdam e ancora in uso. I marinai infatti usavano questa chiesa per espiere i propri e farsi perdonare dopo ave fatto sesso con qualche prostituta. 

 

Cos'altro c'e' da aggiungere su questa fantastica nazione? Spero solo di aver stuzzicato un po' la vostra curiosita'. Spero di avervi motivato un po' per andare a visitare questo fantastico posto. 

 

In ogni caso, dato che siamo studenti e la maggior parte di noi e' sempre senza soldi e con esami da fare abbiamo deciso con i ragazzi Olandesi di portare un po' di Olanda a Padova. 

 

I nostri amici ci prepareranno qualcosa che..... vi stupira' ;)

Dear Erasmini, 

 

is now the time of another national party. It is now the turn of our Dutch friends. 

Netherlands is their home, one of the flattest nation in Europe. The nation is so flat that the main national airport, and one of the biggest airport in Europe, Schipol is around 5 meters under the sea level. This amazing place is  full of wind mills, tulips, parks .... and bikes. Yes, you should know that in Netherlands, before to build everything, streets, palaces or whatever, they think for bikes and bike paths. Statistics say that each dutch own 1.3 bikes. Moreover it is extremely easy to have scene like in Naples for the motorcycle. 3... 4 people on a bike, going as fast as possible, always in a rush, from time to time yelling at tourists that are walking on a bike path. 

Amsterdam is the capital city. One of the most known city all around the globe. Always full of tourists. Heineken is the national beer. One of the biggest breweries in the world that contributed to the removal of the prohibitionism  in USA. Van Gogh is one of the most known artist from Netherlands. 
However why the name of ERASMUS? Actually the name of your exchange program takes its origin from a great traveler, dutch, from Rotterdam: Desiderius Erasmus Roterodamus, alson known as Erasmo from Rotterdam. Great philosopher and theologian. He traveled all around Europe in order to study and to know all the different cultures. 

 

I know, I know... you are now thinking about the weed. Yes, in Amsterdam like (now almost) all around Netherlands is possible to smoke weed legally. Actually during the party we cannot provide you weed, but we will try to recreate the same Dutch atmosphere.... What? Are you asking about sex? What's wrong with you guys? Ok, ok. I barely forgot. YES, in Amsterdam the prostitution is legal and regulated by laws. However I would tell you something about the Red Light District of Amsterdam. Is one of the most beautiful quarters of Amsterdam, and NO, not only for the beauties that are working there. It is the oldest quarter of the city with inside one of the oldest church of Amsterdam, where is still possible to pray and fallow the mass. It has been built  to give to the sailors, that were having random sex with prostitutes, a chance to expiate the sin. The Red Light District is there since 1270. 

 

What else to say about this amazing nation? I hope i have been able to blow your mind a little. I hope i have been able to motivate you to go to visit this amazing country. 

 

However... since that we are students, with not a lot of money and always with exams to do.... we decided to bring NETHERLANDS atmosphere here in Padova.

 

Our amazing Dutch friends will cook for us .... would you like to try something?
