Hello people of the world!
You have probably already seen the big cities around Padova, but to live the Veneto experience to the fullest you can't miss out on the minor but beautiful towns in the area!
If you still don't know much about what else our region has to offer, fear not: we have a brand new trip planned for you!
We will take a two-day tour of some small gems that will bring you back in time to the Middle Ages.
You will get to see Cittadella, the only town in Europe with a full circle of walls that you will be able to walk on, then we will visit Marostica, the city of the living chess, moving on to Bassano, a wonderful city right at the doorstep of the Alps, to finally arrive in Trent to visit its wonderful Christmas stands.
By joining us on this trip you will visit some of the most characteristic places of Veneto which are often overlooked by most tourists and see the true life of the local people, living an authentic and memorable experience!
WHEN?
December the 4th and 5th (Saturday & Sunday)
HOW TO PARTICIPATE?
- Mandatory GREEN PASS or similar certification valid from your own country
- Your ESNCard (if you still don’t have yours just come to the ESN office. Location and office hour: https://g.page/esnpadova )
- Fill in the form to book your spot. You will then receive a confirmation email and it will be asked to come to the ESN office to pay the fee.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The fee is just €85 and includes:
- Transportation with a private bus from Padova to each town and to go back;
- One night in a 4 stars hotel in Bassano city center with breakfast included;
- Dinner (appetizers, first course, water and wine) on Saturday 4th;
- Visit of the Museum of Grappa, including tasting of 5 of the original products of the local factory;
...and some other surprises
The fee will NOT include the lunches, that you can pack beforehand or buy locally, and the walk on the medieval walls (€3.00).
This is due to two variables:
- The weather (if the weather is not good, we cannot go to have a walk on the walls)
- The choice of the participants (if someone would prefer to visit the city instead, they can feel free to do that).
Thus, we will collect the money once we will be there.

Saturday 04/12

- Cittadella and visit of the medieval walls
- Free time for lunch in Marostica
- Arrival in Bassano in the afternoon and check-in at the hotel
- Bassano city tour and visit of the Grappa museum with various Grappa tastings
- Dinner
Sunday 05/12
- Breakfast
- Check-out and go to Trento
- Arrival in Trento at late morning, city tour + visit of the Christmas markets
- Arrival in Padova in the evening
