National Erasmus Games 2024

Hello sporty people! 
The National Erasmus Games (NEG) are approaching, and this year we're heading to the beautiful coastal town of San Benedetto del Tronto! 
What are you waiting for?!? Join us for 3 days of extreme fun, friendly competition, cultural exchange, and unforgettable memories! Whether you're a seasoned athlete or a casual enthusiast, the NEG is the best sports event of the semester.
Compete in various sports: Futsal, Volleyball, Basketball, Beach Volleyball and more, and celebrate with fellow Erasmus students: Enjoy a packed Social Programme of activities, and endless opportunities to make new friends from all over Italy and the world!

FAQ:

How do I sign up?
Fill out the registration form: https://forms.gle/rbjjEt3trvuZeEH77 and reach us at the ESN Office (via Galileo Galilei, 42, https://maps.app.goo.gl/F7ckPrkthSsAZw4H7) to pay the fee (cash, credit or debit card). The Office will be open on Thursday, the 14th and on Monday, the 18th of March from 06:30 to 08:30 PM. 

NOTE: You can make an agreement on your own to collect the team's money, and send only one person to pay for everyone. Also, one person can pay for their friends even if they don't have a team yet.

NOTE: If you also need the ESNcard, you can get it for €10 at our office as well.
If you have any trouble with the registration or the payment, contact the referent person (see below )

If I change my mind or I can't make it anymore, can I withdraw and get a refund?
Yes, however you can cancel till March 20 to receive a full refund. If you find a replacement, it would be really appreciated.
IMPORTANT: If you withdraw after that deadline, you won’t receive any refund and keep in mind you would damage your whole team, cause there's a minimum number of players.

How do I get in San Benedetto del Tronto?

For those who want to leave with us volunteers with the regional trains, the meeting point is in front of the train station at 6:00 am.

What about the sports? Is there any rulebook available?
A complete rulebook will be given by ESN Italy soon, but consider the following rules to build up your teams:
- Each participant can be part of one team only
- All teams have to be mixed (1/3 must be a female player)

Available sports are:
Futsal: 5 players on the pitch, with a team of minimum 7 people and maximum 13
Volleyball: 6 players on the court, with a team of minimum 8 people and maximum 15 
Basketball: 3 players on the court,  with a team of minimum 4 people and maximum 7 
Beach Volleyball: 3 players on the court, with a team minimum 4 people and maximum 7

What’s included in the fee?
- Tournament participation
- Accommodation
- Insurance
- Welcome Kit (which includes T-shirt and shorts)
- Friday dinner, breakfast, lunch and dinner Saturday, Sunday breakfast
- Social programme

Is there an official team uniform?
No, however we can use the ESN Padova T-shirt as a uniform. You can get one for just €5 at our office. On the other hand, if you prefer to design your own uniform, you can proceed autonomously.

Extra:
A €50 deposit is required by ESN Italy. We’re accepting CASH ONLY, however you can decide to pay during the registration (in our office), or on the outward train journey, as you prefer.
