Trip to Rome - Incontro Culturale Erasmus (ICE)

We are talking about Rome, a heady mix of haunting ruins, awe-inspiring art and vibrant street life. Italy's hot-blooded capital is one of the world’s most romantic and charismatic cities.
Few cities can rival Rome's astonishing artistic heritage, the result of 3000 years of ad hoc urban development, Rome's cityscape is an exhilarating sight.
Ancient icons such as the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Pantheon recall the city’s golden age as caput mundi (capital of the world), while monumental basilicas tell of its history as seat of the Catholic Church.

Just give us a second then, because ESN Padova is actually announcing the ICE (Incontro Culturale Erasmus)!
It is the first and the most important ESN National Event, that every year brings more than 1500 International Students from all the Italian ESN Sections to our capital city for 3 amazing days of fun and culture! 

WHEN?
From Friday 18th to Sunday 20th of November.
Departure: FRIDAY 18th NOVEMBER at 5.15 am - meeting point in front of the entrance of Padova’s train station! Please, be on time, the train will not wait for us!
Return: SUNDAY 20th NOVEMBER around 21.00 pm in Padova (at the train station).

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The whole trip costs 210€ and includes:

- Train tickets to go and back;
- 2 nights in hotel with breakfast included;
- 2 dinners where we will eat typical Italian food, drink and sing together;
- 2 ESN Night Events with other Erasmus from all over Italy;
- Guided tour of the city with its most important cultural and historical sites, made by professional guides;
- Visit to the Vatican Museums
- The best Flag parade you’ll ever see with all the Erasmus people invading the streets of Rome!
- Public transport tickets;
- Pre-drink;
..And many other surprises!

You’ll have to pay online, using Verse: a group will be created and we’ll explain to you how to make the payment.

HOW TO GET IN?

The ESNcard is mandatory in order to participate in this event.
If you still don’t have it, AFTER FILLING IN THE FORM you will need to come to the ESN office (Via Galileo Galilei, 42 35123 - Padova, Italy) with 2 passport pictures and 15€.
Together with the ESNcard you will receive also the ESN Welcome Pack + T-shirt for FREE
