Are you ready to become a real Patavino student?? 

ESU (the regional company for the right to education) provides foreign guests with cheap accommodation and canteen service. Other important services promoted by the University include a special support desk helping with the application procedures for visas and residence permits for study purposes and free italian courses specific for incoming students, given by the University Language Center.  Furthermore, lots of welcome and socialization activities are organized by the local Erasmus Student Network association (ESN - Padova);

What to do as soon as you arrive in Padova?

The first thing to do is to go to the SASSA service / ESU Accomodation (Via Tiepolo 48 - Open Monday to Friday from 9 to 13 and from 15 to 18.30) and inform them of your arrival. For any questions, contact them by email at sassa@esu.pd.it.

Then go to the international relations office, respecting the appointment that the SASSA service gives you. Here is the address:

Where to stay in Padua?

Apply at the ESU residences. If beds are already sold out, don't worry: in Padua it is easy to find a room in a private apartment to share with other students. This will give you the opportunity to put your Italian into practice! You can find many ads in every university, or consult, from the comfort of your home, the sites of the various real estate agencies and facebook groups.

 

How to find out about courses and lessons?

Each faculty has its own independent site, look for your faculty and consult its website, you will find all the useful information, the program and the timetable of the lessons.

 

What do you absolutely need to know about Padua?

Padua is a city animated by university life, in fact, it is the students who mainly populate its streets by day and by night! Do not miss the university Wednesday or the six o'clock spritz, lunch in the canteen with fellow students and the thousand coffee breaks of the day! And how not to become attached to your bike that will accompany you in all your adventures?
