Adopt a Tree with ESN

Dear Erasmus,

After all these events and quizzes linked to the Green Month, we are pretty sure that you are experts in ecology and that you know by heart all the tips to live a super ecofriendly life! Now you have the possibility to help us accomplish a concrete initiative to save our planet!

Our ESN Team has decided to round off this month with some initiatives to fight the deforestation!!! In order to accomplish this task, we have planned to buy some trees in the neighborhood of Arcella within a project started by WowNature to make our city greener.

Nonetheless, we have thought that the contributions for such an important cause are never enough and therefore we have decided to involve you in this fight! We have started a fund raising aimed to the adoption of trees on the website ZeroCo2. This website offers the possibility to plant some cedar, of which the entire proceeds will be donated to the Croce Rossa Italiana to help them face the Covid-19 emergency. Thanks to a tracking system, we’ll be able to follow the trees that we have bought, through the sending of pictures and informations on their growth.

Cari Erasmini!

Dopo tutti questi eventi e questi quiz legati al Green Month, siamo sicuri che ormai sarete degli esperti in ecologia e che conoscete a memoria tutti i suggerimenti per mantenere uno stile di vita super ecofriendly! Ora avete la possibilità di aiutarci a compiere un’iniziativa concreta per salvare il nostro pianeta!

Noi di ESN Padova abbiamo deciso di finire questo mese in bellezza con alcune iniziative dirette alla lotta alla deforestazione!! Per portare a termine questo compito, abbiamo pensato di comprare degli alberi nel quartiere dell’Arcella nell’ambito di un progetto di WowNature.

Tuttavia abbiamo pensato che i contributi ad una causa così importante non siano mai abbastanza e per questo vorremmo coinvolgervi in questa lotta! Abbiamo creato una raccolta fondi diretta all’adozione di alberi sul sito ZeroCo2. Questo sito offre la possibilità di piantare dei cedri il cui intero ricavato verrà devoluto alla Croce Rossa Italiana per l’emergenza coronavirus.  Grazie a un sistema di tracciamento, saremo in grado di seguire gli alberi che abbiamo acquistato, attraverso l’invio di foto e informazioni sulla loro crescita.
