Bassanata: trip to Cittadella, Marostica, Bassano and Trento

The time to leave for a new adventure has come, so that we can admire once more our magic country.

It’s time to discover new beauties and new places from the Veneto region and some magic parts from Trentino region.
The magic moment is here... another magic and historic trip made by AEP-ESN Padova:
Saturday the 1st and Sunday the 2nd of December we will have “BASSANATA”!!

The Bassanata is our poker of aces, it's a 2 days trip to visit 4 cities: CITTADELLA, MAROSTICA, BASSANO DEL GRAPPA and TRENTO!!

CITTADELLA is famous for its ancient medieval walls that surround the city; MAROSTICA, differently, is really famous for its 2 ancient castles and for the main square with a chessboard shape. BASSANO DEL GRAPPA is a little gem, well known in Italy for the amazing wooden bridge and for the really tasty grappas. We will sleep in a 4**** hotel for the night. And last but not least TRENTO, main city of Trentino Alto Adige where every year you can visit the really typical “Christmas Markets” and taste some typical dishes or buy some amazing Christmas gifts.

Timing:
Saturday the 1st
- Departure from Padova station in the morning
- Cittadella and the visit to the medieval wall
- Free lunch at Marostica, free time in the square
- Arrival in Bassano in the afternoon and check in in a 4**** Hotel
- Visit of the grappa museum with various Grappa tastings
- Dinner in a typical trattoria in Bassano (with a view on "Ponte degli Alpini") with wine and grappa
- Party all night long

Sunday the 2nd
- Breakfast
- Check out ---> direction TRENTO
- Arrival in Trento at late morning and visit to the Christmas Market + City Tour
- Arrival in Padova in the evening.

The price for this 2 days trip is only 80€ and you will have:
- private bus for both the days
- tasting at the Grappa museum
- 4**** Hotel
- typical dinner with a good amount of beverage ;)
- Breakfast
.... and some other surprises ;)

The price does not include the walk on the medieval wall. This is due to 2 basic variables:
- the weather (if the weather is not good we cannot go to have a walk on the medieval wall)
- the choice of the participants (if someone would prefer to visit the city instead of the wall can feel free to do that).
Then we will collect the money once we will be there.

In order to subscribe for this activity, you have to come to the ESN office in Galleria Tito Livio, from Thursday, November the 8th.
The spots are limited so, please, be as fast as possible! It is one of our oldest and most beautiful activity!

E’ arrivato il momento di partire insieme per un’altra avventura e di viaggiare alla scoperta del nostro meraviglioso paese.

Stavolta scopriremo insieme le bellezze della regione del vostro Erasmus, il Veneto, e, allo stesso tempo, quelle di un’altra regione, il Trentino.
Ecco arrivato il magico momento, un altro tradizionale e storico viaggio:
Sabato 1 e Domenica 2 Dicembre ci sarà la “BASSANATA”!!
La Bassanata è il nostro poker di assi, un viaggio di due giorni in cui visiteremo ben 4 città: CITTADELLA, MAROSTICA, BASSANO DEL GRAPPA e TRENTO!!

Cittadella è famosissima per le sue mura medioevali che circondano interamente la città; Marostica, vicino alle montagne, è altrettanto famosa per i suoi due castelli e per la sua piazza principale fatta a forma di scacchiera. Bassano del Grappa, è un gioiello conosciuto per il suo fantastico ponte tutto di legno, per il suo centro storico, e per le sue buonissime grappe e liquori tipici. Avremo modo di alloggiare in hotel 4**** per la notte.
Infine Trento, capoluogo e città più grande del Trentino Alto Adige, dove ogni anno nel suo centro storico prendono vita i famosi “mercatini di Natale” per assaggiare prodotti tipici trentini o comprare regalini di natale per amici e parenti :)

Programma del viaggio:
Sabato 1 dicembre:
-Partenza in mattinata dalla autostazione di Padova
-Visita delle mura medioevali di Cittadella con guida professionale
-Pranzo libero a Marostica e tempo libero in piazza e in centro storico
-Arrivo a Bassano nel pomeriggio e check-in in Hotel 4****
-Visita al museo della grappa (con degustazioni :D) e mini-tour per il centro storico
-Cena in una tipica trattoria di Bassano (con vista sul famoso Ponte degli alpini), con vino e grappe ;) e festa all night long!!

Domenica 2 dicembre:
-Colazione
-Check out dall'albergo e partenza per Trento
-Arrivo a Trento e visita ai famosi "mercatini di Natale” con tour della città
-Arrivo a Padova in serata

Il costo dell'attività è di solo 80 euro e comprende:
- autobus privato per tutti i due giorni del viaggio
- degustazione 5 assaggini al museo della grappa
- cena tipica, con food e anche tanto beverage ;)
- HOTEL 4****
- ampia colazione a buffet
... e altre sorprese ancora! ;)

La quota non comprende la quota per camminare sulle mura medievali di Cittadella. La decisione è dovuta a 2 fattori:
- il Meteo (in caso di cattivo tempo non saliremo per camminare sulle mura)
- la volontà dei partecipanti (se qualcuno non vuole visitare le mura ma restare in giro a visitare Cittadella è libero di farlo).
Dunque raccoglieremo i soldi dei partecipanti direttamente sul posto.

Per iscriversi a questa attività dovete necessariamente passare al nostro ufficio ESN, in Galleria Tito Livio, da Giovedì 8 Novembre.
Ma attenzione, è una delle nostre gite storiche e più belle, quindi affrettatevi perché i posti sono limitati!!
