Touch Rugby

Ciao, International Students!

Ready to swap your usual routine for something completely different?

Picture this: a sport you can learn in ten minutes, zero experience required, and a field full of people who are just as new to it as you are. Say hello to touch rugby!

Wait, rugby? Isn't that... brutal?
Not this version! In touch rugby, there are no tackles, just a gentle... touch! It's fast, fun and friendly, and it's played together by men and women of all ages and levels.

Meet your hosts:
"Scambio di Lingue" (yes, it means "Language Exchange") is a varied crew of Italians, international students and workers who call Padua their Home.
They play in the Italian National Touch Rugby Championship, and every year they open their training session to ESN students to welcome Padua's newest arrivals. This is a great opportunity to make the most of your international experience, and it's just for you!

Stay for the "third half":
In rugby, the match is only half the story. Once the final whistle blows, join us for the "third half": a rich assortment of drinks and snacks, with your new teammates!
